This policy explains what information we collect when you visit our site, why we collect it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Contact form. When you submit our contact form, we collect your full name, email address, phone number (optional), and message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry and follow up about our services.
Ebook and digital product purchases. When you purchase a digital product from us, we collect your name and email address to deliver your purchase and keep a record of the order. Payments are processed by Stripe — your card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. Stripe’s handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
Booking a call. If you book a strategy call, we collect the contact details you provide (name, email, phone) to schedule and hold that call.
Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested. We use this only for security and troubleshooting.
Analytics and advertising
With your consent, this site uses two third-party measurement tools: Google Analytics 4 (Google LLC), which collects anonymized usage data such as pages visited, session duration, approximate location, and device type; and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms, Inc.), which records page views and actions such as form submissions or click-to-call so we can measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. These tools may set cookies and receive your IP address and browser information.
Neither tool loads until you click “Accept” on our consent banner. If you click “Decline” or make no choice, no analytics or advertising scripts run. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie named vd_consent (kept up to 365 days if accepted, 180 days if declined). You can change your choice at any time using the “Cookie Preferences” link in the site footer, or by clearing this site’s cookies in your browser.

Cookies
We use a small number of cookies: vd_consent (remembers your analytics/advertising choice), session cookies required for checkout when you purchase a digital product, and standard WordPress cookies for logged-in site administrators. Analytics and advertising cookies from Google and Meta are set only after you accept the consent banner, as described above.
How we use your information

We use a small set of service providers to run this site: our web hosting provider (which stores the site and its server logs), Stripe (payment processing), Google (analytics, with consent), Meta (advertising measurement, with consent), and our email service provider (which transmits form notifications and order emails). Each receives only the data needed to perform its function.
How long we keep your data
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any ongoing business relationship. Purchase records are retained as required for tax and accounting purposes. Analytics data is retained according to Google’s and Meta’s standard retention settings.
Your rights and choices
You can request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it (except records we must keep for legal, tax, or security reasons). Email sales@villegasdigital.com and we will respond to any request within 30 days. California residents: we honor access and deletion requests from all visitors regardless of whether a specific privacy statute applies to our business.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. Our site does not respond to DNT signals specifically — instead, no tracking of any kind runs unless you affirmatively accept our consent banner, which is a stronger protection.
Children’s privacy
Our site and services are directed to business owners and are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to stored data is limited to those who need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures appropriate to the data we handle.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
