For Auto Repair Shops

Auto repair shop marketing that fills bays — and a website you own.

Web design, local SEO and after-hours call capture for independent repair shops, tire shops and smog stations across Chula Vista, National City and San Diego’s South Bay. Bilingual by default — se habla español.

Why Shops Switch

The big shop-marketing platforms rent you a website. We build you one you own.

Most auto-shop marketing vendors put you on a template platform — and their own terms make the website, the content, even your customer data theirs, not yours. Cancel, and you start over from nothing. We think a shop that’s been on the same corner for twenty years deserves better than renting its own name.

You own it. In writing. Day one.

Your domain, your website, your content, your reviews, your customer list. It’s written into our agreement — if you ever leave, everything goes with you.

One shop per corridor.

Template vendors sell the same site to you and the shop down the street — then compete you against each other. We take one repair shop per neighborhood. When we work for you, we don’t work for your competitor.

Bilingual, by default.

South Bay drivers search in English and Spanish. Your high-intent pages, your Google profile and your after-hours call capture work in both — built by people from here, not translated by a plugin.

New BAR Rule

Is your shop’s online advertising compliant with the new BAR rule?

Since October 1, 2025, California regulation 16 CCR §3371.2 requires every online ad from a registered Automotive Repair Dealer — your website, your Google Business Profile, your social pages — to display your BAR-registered business name, your ARD number, and your BAR-registered phone number. A companion rule covers priced offers, which need a legible disclosure alongside the price.

Most shops we look at haven’t caught up yet — and to be fair about it, the Bureau has said it’s leading with education, not enforcement. This isn’t a scare. It’s just a fix that takes about twenty minutes once you know exactly what to check.

The compliance check

We look up your BAR license, check your website, Google profile and social pages against the rule, and send you exactly what’s missing — free, whether or not you ever hire us. Most shops are three small edits away.

The Smog Funnel

If you’re a Test-and-Repair station, the state sends you customers every year.

Every vehicle in California has to pass smog to register. Every failed test is a driver who must find a repair — usually starting with a search on their phone in the parking lot. That’s a recurring, state-scheduled stream of customers, and most Test-and-Repair shops never claim it: no “Smog inspection station” category on their Google profile, no page that answers “my car failed smog, now what?”

11.28MInitial smog inspections in California in a year
8.51%Of initial tests fail — nearly a million repairs waiting
$756.68Average repair on a vehicle that failed

Figures from the California Bureau of Automotive Repair’s 2025 Smog Check program data. About 61% of the state’s smog stations are licensed Test-and-Repair — if that’s you, this funnel is already yours. We just make sure Google knows it.

The Math

We count new cars in your bays, not clicks.

Marketing only makes sense against the gross profit of an additional repair order — the car that wouldn’t have come in otherwise. We report the number of new customers, starting month one. No vanity dashboards, no promises about cost per lead — anyone promising you an exact cost per lead is guessing.

A shop’s napkin math

Say your average repair order is around $550 and your parts-and-labor gross margin is near the industry’s typical half. Each additional car is worth roughly $286 in gross profit. At that rate, a $1,000/mo plan pays for itself at about four extra cars a month. Your numbers will differ — bring them to the call and we’ll run it with your ARO, not ours.

What You Get

One system, built for repair shops.

Get found
  • Conversion-first, mobile-fast website — that you own
  • Google Business Profile overhaul: correct primary and secondary categories (including smog, where licensed) and a complete services list — not six vague lines
  • BAR §3371.2 compliance block deployed across your website, Google profile and social pages
  • Spanish-language pages for your highest-intent searches
Get booked
  • After-hours missed-call capture: a customer who calls at 7pm gets an instant bilingual text-back, and a human confirms the appointment — no robot booking jobs into your calendar
  • Works with whatever you run — Tekmetric, Mitchell 1, Shop-Ware or a paper schedule. No software integration required
  • Review engine: automated requests and a system for responses
  • A monthly report that counts new customers — from month one
Auto Repair Plans

Plans for repair shops start at $750/mo.

Most single-location shops land in our Growth plan — see the full pricing page for what’s in each tier. Retainers are month to month, and the website is yours either way. Running a Test-Only smog station? State rules bar you from selling repairs, so you don’t need a repair-marketing retainer — we’ll tell you that up front and quote a one-time website build instead.

FAQ

Questions shop owners ask us

What exactly is the ARD-number rule?

16 CCR §3371.2, effective October 1, 2025: any online advertising by a registered Automotive Repair Dealer must display the BAR-registered business name, the ARD registration number, and the BAR-registered phone number. That includes your website, Google Business Profile and social pages. BAR has signaled an education-first approach — the point is to get compliant calmly, not to panic. Our compliance check is free.

Do I have to change my shop management software?

No. Everything we build works alongside whatever you already run — Tekmetric, Mitchell 1, Shop-Ware, or a paper appointment book. The after-hours call capture works at the phone-line level, so there’s no integration project and nothing to migrate.

Will the after-hours texting quote prices or book jobs on its own?

No — and that’s deliberate. California law is strict about repair estimates, so the after-hours capture never quotes a price, never diagnoses, and never promises a ready time. It answers instantly in English or Spanish, captures the customer’s need, and a human confirms the appointment. Its job is to stop the 7pm caller from dialing the next shop on the list.

I run a Test-Only smog station. Is this for me?

Partly. Test-Only stations can’t sell repairs, so most of a repair-marketing plan would be wasted on you — we’ll say so up front. What does make sense is a clean one-time website build and an accurate Google profile, quoted as a project with no retainer.

Why not just use one of the cheap template platforms?

Read the terms before you sign one. The template platforms commonly keep ownership of the website they build you, keep their own link in your footer, and delete your data shortly after you cancel — some state plainly that all sales are final. The monthly price looks lower until the day you leave and discover you’re starting from zero. With us, everything is yours from day one, in writing.

Is there a contract?

Website builds are project-based. Retainers are month to month — we earn your business every month, and if you ever leave, the site, the content and the customer data go with you.
